We are an Inverclyde Council
accredited Safe Club for children and have an enthusiastic junior section which
offers children up to the age of 16 the opportunity to enjoy cricket in a
fun and safe environment under the guidance of our Junior Convener and coaching
team, each of whom is an ECB qualified coach.
The juniors meet during
the winter for indoor sessions in St Columba’s High School, Gourock
where we have access to modern up to date ECB compliant cricket nets,
bowling machine and other equipment. From April to August - weather
permitting - sessions take place outdoors at Gourock Park.
The children participate in Sunday morning summer cricket festivals
organised by the Western District Junior Cricket Association as well as that
body’s age group league structure.
Any child who is interested
is more than welcome to come along to any of our junior sessions to give
cricket a go. Or, if you would like further information, please contact
our Junior Convenor, Nicole Walton.
